Non Slam Check Valve

Non-Slam Check Valves are lift type non return valves used in pipelines to prevent back-flow of the fluid. Designed to fit between two flanges, these valves provide a compact installation when compared to the conventional flanged end check valves.

The Non-Slam Check Valves have short overall length in comparison with the standard flanged end Check Valves. The size and weight are considerably reduced. This offers great advantage for installation, handling, transportation and storing.

Constructional Details

BODY

The single piece investment cast body is precision machined and designed to withstand specified pressures. The lugs in the body act as a guide for the smooth movement of the disc in operation. The cam shape on the outer diameter of the body facilitates self centering of the valve during installation.

DISC

Precision machined and lapped (in case of metal seating) discs are designed to withstand the operating pressures & resist wear and tear in operation.

SPRINGS

The specially designed springs are of Stainless Steel and ensure positive closing even at low back pressure in any plane.
